AIRLINES IN THE NEWS:
A Germany to Atlanta flight had some excitement
when a baby was born in flight. Fortunately some
doctors were on board. "Delivering a baby in an aisle of a plane
isn't an easy thing to do," one of the doctors,
Dr. Robert Vincent, a pediatric cardiologist
with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, said Friday.
The baby is fine after some initial breathing problems.
A Portuguese
airliner was forced to land after
sucking in a swarm of bees into it’s engine
on a flight from London to Portugal. "Some witnesses claimed
there were around 20,000 bees,"
said. David Skillicorn, managing director of Palmair.
The plane had to be replaced to continue the flight.

A 19 year old Orangtun escaped it’s enclosure in Tapei going on
a three hour rampage turning over motor scooters, garbage cans
and anything else she could get her hands on. Little Blackie was
eventually recaptured thanks to a stun gun. It’s the second
incident of ape rage in as many days, after an 11-year-old
gorilla burst out of its enclosure at a zoo in the Dutch city of
Rotterdam Friday, attacked a woman and went on a rampage in the
zoo's cafeteria before being recaptured.
