X-COASTER HAND

This roller coaster, the X-Coaster got it’s riders stuck half an hour hanging upside down--150 feet above the ground in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

MODEL TURNED TV ANCHOR? That’s the premise behind a FOX reality series. Cameras will follow model Lauren Jones, for a 30-day stint at KYTX-TV, a CBS affiliate, that will include co-anchoring the 5 p.m. newscast. The former Guiding Light and WWE Smackdown model will try to convince people sh e’s up to the job of journalist.

DON’T MESS WITH BAMBI In a story that almost screams revenge. Kandi Hanson in Brainerd, Minnesota has had her fair share of run ins with deer on the road, totally one car and damaging two others. This time it was Kandi’s turn. A deer charge out of the woods and flattened her out in the 10k Sour Grapes Half and Half Fun Run .

Tara Spears, 32, of Bell, FL. was knocked unconscious by a Sturgeon
leaping into a boat on the Suwannee river in Florida.
This is the latest incident of leaping Sturgeon in Florida.
In April and another woman was injured and a man was hurt last year. They can grow up to 8 feet long and up to 200 pounds.

IMPOSSIBLE QUESTION Q. According to Allure magazine, you have to have a permit to wear these in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.
It is something women wear – normally anyway. What?
A. High heels! They have issued 466 permits since the law was passed in 1964.
