SCOOBY DOO ON FILM
Mike Meyers is penning the script for a "live action" version of Scooby for the
big screen. Meyers may also star in the film.
THERE HE IS....
Boomer Esiason, former NFL quarterback has signed on as the host for the 78th Mis America
Pageant. It hits the tube Spetember 19th. Esiason has also inked a deal as an analyst on
Monday Night Football.
NOW THIS IS POLITICS
Indian elders in Columbia have voted to punish their elected representative. They will
march him into a swamp where he must stay overnight, then the next day strip him naked and
throw him into an ice cold mountain lake. Why ? Because he pledged public political
support for a candidate after tribal leaders had told him not to support either
candidate.
"This will help restore my good energy and free me of evil spirits," said the
senator.
YOU'D BETTER BELIEVE
Preachers in Kentucky can now carry a gun into church. Apparently there was a shortage of
weapons in the pulpit :) The men of God can now pack heat as long as they have a concealed
weapon's permit. Guns still are banned fom public buildings and schools...
HEAT GETTING TO YOU ?
A Peoria, Illinois woman is steaming after a thief yanked her window air conditioner from
the window in her home as she slept. A man was seen running down an alley and stuffing the
AC unit into the trunk of a car. Candy Leas says it's the 2nd time in 3 years that someone
has yanked the AC from her home.

Marv Albert's rehabilitation continues. He's been signed up with the Madison Square Garden
Network as an announcer and will have his own show.
FIGHTING FOR RIGHTS
Three women were busted in Moscow Idaho for going topless in public. The women were
accompanied by five shirtless men who were not arrested. The women are protesting an
ordianance that they say is discriminatory against women.
