TURN THAT DOWN

The neighbor's next door "stereo is too loud" argument has been going on for years. Houston, Delaware, man we'll call him Barney V, took first the high tech and then the high volume approach to some serious cranked Bon Jovi at his neighbors abode.

Mr. V has been feuding for several years with his neighbors over their loud rock music. So what's his first mode of finding a solution? Invent something!

Barney invented a device, which which remotely rendered their stereo equipment useless, pretty sharp cookie eh? But alas the long arm of the law was there to slap down Barney's ingenuity. A judge curtailed the device's use.

So what did Mr. V. do? He started writing and performing his own music and not just your average loud music. No, Barney started to experiment.

His first piece?

"Sonata for Calliope of Truck Horns About to Be Transcribed for Locomotive Horns Opus No. 1". That got the neighbors attention and the issue has been settled peacefully and out of court. Details of the arrangement were not available to this scribe.

It does take me back to my early days of composition and of course the famous: "Boston Pots 'n Pans Clanging in D" or the "Dog,Cat fight Aria for bloated Opera Singer", and of course my masterpiece."Baby's Screaming Cacophony Concerto in C sharp".

Barney, by the way, lives in a house shaped like a flying saucer. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

LET MOMMY HELP

Drove her son and two accomplices to the bank to make sure there were no glitches. "I knew he wanted to rob the shop and I was very worried about him," top-selling Bild quoted the mother as saying. Three years in teh pokie.

COULD WE PICK UP THE SPEED A LITTLE
You're riding the train on your way to work or wherever, then screech, complete stop. What do ya do? Get out and push. That's what hundreds of Indian passengers did. It took a half hour but they eventually moved the electric train 12 feet so it could touch some LIVE electric lines.
